Who could argue with that? Winemaker Kevin Mitchell will be here take your senses on a tour of some of his best wines. There's something for everyone in this tasting. The focus will be on three of his richly dense shirazes including the highly sought-after Covenant and Oracle as well as the bargain Killerman's Run shiraz 2008. These will be contrasted with the delightful Sparkling Vouray (from grapes in the Loire Valley, France) and the steely, intense Mort's Block Watervale riesling.

Founded in 1997 by Kevin Mitchell (a member of one of the Clare Valley’s long established wine families), Kilikanoon has quickly gained the attention of influential critics on both sides of the Pacific. Kilikanoon is now regarded internationally as one of the Valley’s finest wine producers.

Fixed price wine+dine after the tasting !!NOW SOLD OUT!!

Our kitchen team will be preparing a special fixed price menu for anyone who’d like to stay for dinner after the tasting. The price will be $29 per head and will include a selected glass of Kilikanoon wine. As a bonus, if you book for the dinner you will also have a seat during the tasting, though places are limited.

The menu will be:

 - Roast Bungendore Striploin, thrice cooked chips and hollandaise

or

 - Pumpkin and pistachio risotto with pecorino and Jingilli olive oil

with a side salad to share of mixed leavs and balsamic dressing

There's also two of chef's brilliant desserts on offer for only $10 extra, with a choice of vanilla bean and rhubarb brulee with biscotti or homemade ice cream.
